Land Rover Discovery Sport PHEV 2020 with fault code P0AA0-66
A 2020 Land Rover Discovery PHEV came in with a fault in the hybrid system. The car was running solely on the combustion engine, and a fault message was displayed on the screen. The fault memory contained code P0AA0-66, related to the high-voltage battery positive contactor circuit.
Upon inspection, it was found that a contactor counter had reached a threshold value. At this value, the BECM blocks the activation of the high-voltage battery pack. Additionally, a fault regarding the performance of the secondary battery was stored.
